Manchester is the south side’s answer to Scott’s Addition — a former industrial district that’s rapidly becoming one of the most exciting urban neighborhoods in Richmond. Sitting just across the Mayo Bridge from downtown, Manchester offers loft living, river access, and skyline views, often at price points that are noticeably more reasonable than equivalent units across the river.

The James River is right there, and the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge gives walkers and cyclists a direct, scenic route across the river to Brown’s Island and downtown.

Manchester is a strong pick for buyers who want urban living, modern construction, and a neighborhood with a clear upward trajectory — without paying north-of-the-river prices.
